I have been given a project to do, which I'm about to start working on.

A company has a Cisco 1841 Router which they have had Penetration Testing done on, and I'm the man who has been tasked to make sure it is not vulnerable anymore.

Nice bit of overtime and hopefully quite an enjoyable job.

The only thing I'm slightly concerened about are the ACL's as it only has Public IP addreses and I need to lock it down. One thing wrong and no remote access for Craigie.

    Wish me luck!

Cheers mate, I have a report off the current vulnerabilities.

The router doesn't support SSL or SSH, which makes the configuration slightly more tricky as I will need to lock it down so only our Public IP and theres can gain remote access.

Reload In is your friend - it's saved me a few times from having to make the embarressing "reboot your router because I screwed up" phone call
