cert sites ?

    how good are prep sites like xxxxxxx.com , xxxxx.com etc in preparing you for real exams . i am looking to study for my mcse and i need experienced ppl assistance in finding the right prep sites

    Hi

    If you're looking for exam sim's, you may want to check out Transcender or measure-up.

    For CBT's, have a gander at Learnkey, CBT Nuggets or Syngress.

    For Book's read Syngress, Sybex, MS Press, MOC (Microsoft Training Books), etc.

    For on-hands training try out Virtual PC/VM Ware and a couple of trial versions of Windows XP & Server 2k3.

    For Microsoft training/classes get in touch with your local tech/college as they will be cheaper than private training providers.

    Braindump sites are a waste of money, no guarantee that the info is correct and violate the NDA that you sign and agree to when you take the exams.

    Hmm,

    I think I may be reading into this too much, but this post is very familiar, he seems to be spamming other forums with similar questions. I saw a similar post on a board that has nothing to do with certification.

    It amazes me how low people can go to use BD's - wouldn't be cheaper to get a brain transplant?


    This has probably been ask before, but what are CBT Nuggets?
    are they tastier than KFC chicken nuggets?:biggrin

    Depends on what size bucket your after!

    CBT Nuggets - They are training videos (similar to those vids in the MM book you have (but not demos))

    Ouch! those CBT training vid's are a lot of dosh and you don't even get a thick milkshake with them!:biggrin

    They don't look as good or as cheap as Rapid Results
