Has anyone tried Cerco 1week free training course in Crewe?

I heard loads of stories on Cerco and Unique IT Training which you have to pay for.

Just see if anyone has been through their 1week free training course?

I thinking I might as well give it a try due to it's free got nothing to lose hopefuly.

but i know for sure if anything pops up with money then i'm out.

I trained with Cerco a few years back but I did a week and a half (i only did half the 3 weeks as i was offered a job through Cerco)for free as I was already working on a service desk for them.

The only reason they would offer the course for free is to either sell you further training or place you in a position.
If you managed to get a position out of it, great its a foot in the door but I would be weary of paying money for the courses as i thought they were very expensive and didn't give you a certification.

Edit: I remember they used to offer a short course think it was a grand for a week. Which they would then try to place in a less technical role (helping on a roleout etc) maybe they offer this for free now.

 

Tomorrow is my last day of the course.
Doing the test. during the course it was very simple.
Learning how to simply dismount and build a computer, simple configuations and printers.
very basic of basic of tech work.

overall at the moment very friendly. simple topics.

next step if any employment.

if there is this be a great step for me to enter the IT industory.

 

Finished the course a week ago now.
Pass and filled out loads of securty forms.
havent heard from them about anything at the moment.
still fingers cross if i have a good out come.

 

It been a month now.
Got a 10day work worth £60 a day starting next week.
so not bad but had to wait but it was a free course and got a small job out of it.

Just hoping more jobs pop up after this.
