Hi guys, I haven't been around for a while but as I'm looking at the possibility of moving into networking I thought I'd pop back and make good use of everyones knowledge.

What kind of lab setup would be required for the CCNA?

Are there any resources out there for sample lab setups (recent)?

    Thanks

Basic CCNA Lab I would say:

    3 x 2611 routers
    2 x 2950 switches (Maybe three)
    4 x Wic1T interface cards
    4 x crossover CAT5 leads
    4 x straight CAT5 leads
    5 kettle leads
    Console lead

This ought to set you back around £150 odd or less

Certifications: Yes I pretty much am!!

I'm pleasantly surprised, I thought it would cost a lot more to setup a CCNA lab. That's very reasonable.

Looking ahead would it to a big jump in cost to setup a CCNP lab?

    Thanks for your help.
