    Hello friends

CCNA and CCNA Security content can't display in firefox on my ubuntu 9.10 box

I have tried the following but still can't display the content:

    1] Installed adobe flash plugin

    2] Installed codec w32codecs

3] updated my firefox [code name Namoroka]

4] Blocked , edited and allowed - pop ups

5] Right clicking in the browser and selecting properties --> security setting [to point to the adobe site, then add files or folder]

None of the above methods has worked ????

Kindly, any advice on how to handle the issue i will appreciate

Am still new to this forum

    Thanks:D

Try another browser. Chromium? Konqueror or anothe flavour of firefox. Maybe shiretoko

Try another os live cd. mint is pre configured for flash

try this http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/147592 - have had to do this before as some sites insist on I.E.

I think it could be the way Ubuntu fetches flash in websites. Mint isn't as problematic as all the bits like flash are all ready configured

Thats all I got I'm afraid. Off to pub

There used to be a problem when checker.jsp (i presume it checks the referrer and carries out OS specific tasks) was loaded in ubuntu.

    Using the URL ..

    http://cisco.netacad.net/cnams/public/Login.jsp

    Got around that issue.

I don't know if this still works or if this the issue your having?

to be honest you might as well use windows in a VM as the software available via Cisco Acadmey is windows only, unless you like tweaking with WINE.
