CASP being renamed SecurityX is a bad idea

    1. Prospective employers will likely confuse SecurityX with Security+
    2. CASP has still not gained name recognition of CISSP. Now whatever progress was made will be lost, and we have to start all over again.

    Interesting name change, also looks like Secuirty with a kiss ha ha I liked the CASP but perhaps they needed to shake things up to drum up more interest, I like the Xpert designation they've come up with, its what many of us aspire to be after all. I'll always be a big CompTIA fan, I hope they continue to do well. I think it's important to have independant vendors like this doing certs as they can cover multiple technologies over a VMware or Microsoft who just cover their own only

    3. I think CASP has a more profession sound to it. It sounds like saying "I am a CISSP" or "I am a CPA." Initials like that have a profession ring to them. Who wants to say "I am a SecurityX."
