Help please, learning for 70-291 and having a bit of trouble.
Here's my set-up to test DNS:

    Two virtual servers:

    Computer1
    member server

192.168.2.10 access to wireless network, internet
    192.168.0.1 virtual network, DNS
    netbios disabled

Can ping 192.168.0.2 but not computer2
"Ping request could not find host computer2. Please check the name and try again."

    Computer2
    member server

    192.168.0.2
    netbios disabled

    Can ping 192.168.0.1 and computer1
    Can ping 192.168.2.10
    Can access the internet
If change computer2 IP address automatically updates host record in DNS

So computer2 seems to be behaving as expected, dns seems to be OK on computer1 can ping IP addresses both way, just cant ping "Computer2", any ideas?

Do you have both a forward look up zone and a reverse lookup zone configured in DNS?

Yes, but as I understand it reverse lookup is IP address to name resolution. I can ping the IP address but not the name. So I would expect the problem to be with forward lookup i.e. name to IP address, but there is a Host(A) record.....

Can you disable your 192.168.2.10 NIC and try. What happens then?

Just tried that and yes it works then so possibly something to do with the ICS, I am in the middle of reconfiguring.
