Hey everyone,

After reading Leehaa thread "Please" on her race for life I thought I'd raise a thread too!

On the 20th July 2008 I will be taking part in a swimathlon in the sea to raise money for British Heart Foundation.

I 'm trying to raise about £100. Below is a link to the website with more details. The money goes to helping men, women children and unborn children, who have sufferd heart attacks or have a heart problem!

Hearts First Sea Swim - Bournemouth Pier to Pier

For me it's personal having witnessed my father die from Heart attack in front of me 2 days before Christmas.

If you could sponsor me that would great if not no worries!

Training is hard at the moment and the sea is cold, and everytime I go in the water for training the tide seems to be against me

But I am determine to do it after all it's only 1.4 miles in the sea!

I lost my mum to a heart attack a week ago she was only in her early 50's, so I've donated as well.
