Can someone explain to me what is the benefit of an exam voucher?

now voucher to me indicates discount.. so why are comptia vouchers the same price as the exam? I dont get it.. what use do they serve if not a discount in exam price? Maybe Im understanding this wrong as I cant see the logic in getting an exam voucher if its the same price as the exam.

Using the same voucher, can you take the exam twice if you failed the first time?

 

Nah mate you need a voucher eachtime you sit the exam, lets not forget the cert game is 90% just a way of vendors making £.

 

When I was doing the CompTia, I always thought that the Voucher was there for a second shot or something like that.

Then I started Cisco and it all changed!!
