    Hi All,

recently there was an interesting news thread that I commented on, basically saying I think peoples downloads should be curbed as a way to stop piracy. Last night I downloaded something like 10GB of Linux distro's and stuff off Microsoft. I didn't realise how much I'd downloaded until this morning but it made me realise, on paper 10GB over night probably doesn't look legit unless you took a closer look at my logs etc on where I'd been.

Cut a long story short I think I was wrong to say curb peoples downloads and would now like to pick "educate people and go after the uploaders"!

Just wanted to share my experience, for what its worth

    Jim

For those who don't believe I read the entire posts, I'll clarify: 10 GB overnight isn't going to get him targeted as a pirate.

Cheers mate. I'm always open to someone changing my opinion on certain things and it was your posts, and the fact that I'd downloaded so much that I felt compelled to voice my 'new' opinion. You tha man :kar

It won't be the RSPCA if its a parrot, it'll be the RSPB first and they're scarier!

My download habits have been fairly tame in recent months, my upper limit is 50GB a month with my ISP (a fantastic way to curb your habits by the way).
