I am loooking to do a budget upgrade on my desktop

Looking to add a faster processor and some extra ram

At the moment the processor is an amd4600+ and has 2gb of ram

the mobo is an Asus M2N68-LA which according to the hp website can handle upto amd phenom 9600 or a x2 5600.

I dont do alot of multitasking so was looking to go for a dual core with higher processor speed and have seen these but what s the difference apart from the £10

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.9GHz Socket AM2 512KBx2 L2 Cache OEM Processor

    and

AMD Athlon 5600 X2 Dual Core 2.9GHz 512Kb Cache OEM Processor

    Thanks

to me it just looks to be a newer revision CPU, with socket AM2+ rather than AM2.
