As the title says, im going to buy some testing software from them for my 70-270. Does anyone have an opinion of the two?

*im leaning towards transcender at the moment*

Actually, I wrote neither Boson's 70-270 product nor Transcender's 70-270 product. I might have edited Transcender's 70-270 product unless they're currently using the stuff written by SelfTest.

Hippy: I used to work for Transcender, and currently work for Boson. :D

    BOTH!

    1. Know your stuff.
    2. You can never have enough practice material.

It's people like BBM who guide us through the headache which is certification. Take all that they can offer...

I've used both before for preparation of the exams and they both are great.

I've only use Transcender personally, for the A+ (Hey it was 20% off at the time! :) )

I found the Transcender questions were actually slightly harder then the actual exam, is that a good or bad thing? Im not sure. Good because if you ace them then your definately ready, but it can also be disheartening when you find yourself not scoring as high as you feel you should!

I think its a safe bet whichever you go for, your buying quality. Good luck with the 270 by the way :)

It definitely does. Especially when you are weeks away from the actual exam.

Ok, I've heard some stuff lately, about TS quailty might not be up to snuff like it use to be. Something about stuff be written now is not of the same quailty as it use to be. And lets be honest, if your going to spend this much money, you might as well make sure your getting what you pay for. If it was me, I would go with the boson not because I know Mike, but because I know Mike and the team he works with writing. Those people helped make TS what it is today. They just happen to all be at Boson now though. And you will be getting the best from them.

Unfortunately, I haven't edited the old, existing Boson content... been too busy creating the Vista and CCNA exam products. So... with 70-270, you'd get something that I can't necessarily put my personal stamp of quality on. I'd certainly appreciate it... but I haven't seen it myself.

    boson is cheaper

The reason i thought of transcender was because the questions are harder than the real thing.

For any future exams, remember where the "harder questions" used to come from, and where those folks work now. 8)

    Just sayin'.
