Hello, can anyone recommend a study book for the 70-270 exam, I'm looking at the Sybex and MS Press books but both seem to have quite a few negative comments on the Amazon review pages.

    Thanks!

I am using the MS Press book which is quite good. I also have the sybex one which I think I prefer slightly but either will do.

I used both, where one did not cover a subject enough, the other did... You will always find negative reviews on books. Also test prep software will always help towards the end

I used the exam cram 2 book but I already had very good knowledge of Windows XP... so I just needed to reinforce what I already knew. But the MS-Press books are really good.

Thanks for the answers guys, will give the MS press one a try, my friend also lent me some CBT videos, so hopefully that will supplement the book.

It's nice that your friend loaned you those CBT videos. Unfortunately, he's probably doing so in violation of his licensing. Just about every legit CBT video publisher sells access to their products as a nontransferrable single-user license. Meaning, they can't be sold, leased, traded, loaned, or even given away for free - they can be used only by the person who purchased them. As such, using those videos would be no different than pirating them, according to Copyright Law.

Better safe than sorry, bro. If they're worth using, they're worth buying.
