I have the MS press books in the post

Does any one recommend highly any other third party publications.

I also plan to borrow my mates CBT Nuggets Videos again however they take hours to watch

,and another book,a lab book,that i can't find available on the web.

 

Not another one from MS press for 70-271, makes me wonder how many are out there ... LOL

 

I defo recommend Sybex's Study Guide.
It covers 271 and 272, and you'll be suprised of some of the items that are not covered in the MS Press books.
Also, the way this is written is a lot more clearer that the MS Press books for the MCDST.

 

I normally prefer videos to written materials. They all have their advantages. MSpress is always my choice when it comes to microsoft certs atleast for now till i have cause to switch

 

Not legally, you can't. According to CBT Nuggets' licensing:

I'm quite sure your mate didn't purchase a multi-user license, as they are quite expensive.

 

I went on eBay and found the following two items when I was studying for my MCDST really helpful. They were PDFs with over 400 exam questions each. After having read the Microsoft books I did the PDF tests like the real thing and timed myself doing 50 questions in two hours which helped a lot.

The items I refer to are as follows:
MCDST - Exam 70-271 - Real Exam Questions + Study Guide
MCDST - Exam 70-272 - Real Exam Questions

They were £1.99 each and really worth the money many times over.

Problem with videos anyway is that they take too long to watch

 

Considering it says "Real Exam Questions", it's highly likely.
