I went home from work to walk my dog and what did I find torn to pieces all over my bedroom floor but my trust copy of PC Technician Street Smarts, its completley ruined.

I was saying to the dog you little **@^ thats my f**&^& book god dammit. Unfortunatley my house hold insurance doesn't include acts of dog so I have had to buy another copy.

I have settled down a bit now but was really pissed off, fortunatley its a decent price and is well worth double the price imo, so its not a great chunk out of my bank balance.

I just have to wait for it arrive now

So dogs eating your books does happen, I am just glad the Mike Meyers AIO is a hard back, the dog isn't strong enough to eat that.

She must have got spooked by something, although she seems a playful dog apart from when she sees another dog, she is actually quite nervous especially when there is shooting round my area or a car back fires she will do strange things like try to dig out of the house or hide under the bed covers.

 

If I heard gunshots in my neighborhood, I'd feel nervous, too. That's why I moved out of a large, metropolitan area and over to Idaho. Less chance of getting shot (and a better place to raise children).

 

I live in an area where there is a lot of pheasant shooting and the odd poacher shooting other animals they are not supposed to.
