Tim Schafer and Double Fine are putting together a community funded Adventure Game. For a $15 dollar backing, you get a copy of the finished article (higher backings net more rewards).

If you were ever a fan of Adventure Games, and miss them in this day and age, you need to get behind this campaign! They originally shot for a $400k budget via kickstarter, and hit it in just 8 hours. The budget now sits at ~$2M, and still has 16 days to go.

Think about it, if you like adventure games, and would consider picking it up when it was released, you should put in $15. You're getting a copy of the game for that, so it's no different from buying on release. And it helps to make the game, up front, even better.

I like the sound of this - I loved Infocom and Sierra games back in the day (I still play Police Quest now and again - quite scary to think I was about 10 first time round!)

Yeah I thought so too. Loved MI, and DOTT. Great games, and this seems to be shaping up to be a winner. I'd buy it Anyway, so I might as well put my money up front to help make the game even better.

I'd love to donate some of the crazy amounts, I just can't afford it.
