Has anyone done the BCS 'Certificate in IT'? I'm looking at doing it by self-studying, and was wondering if anyone had any tips? The BCS themselves offer a basic syllabus and a reading list, but little else.

If anyone has done it, and has any books that they no longer need, I'd be willing to make you an offer :D

    Thanks,

    Gavin

Sorry mate, haven't done it myself (as I did the HNC-BSc route), but good luck with it. From what I can gather it's comparable to a HNC (1/3 of a degree) at a fraction of the cost (so sits on level 4 of the QCF).

Keep us updated on how it goes :)
