    I assume you mean:
I have an 802.11G wireless adapter. My router is 802.11N. The distance between them is 10 meters.
But I get a really strong signal with 60mbps?
Which one is faster? G or N?

I believe the 802.11G standard specifies a maximum data rate of 54 mbps, so how you can be getting 60 mbps with a 802.11G adapter is a bit of a mystery to me. You can only go as fast as your weakest link.
B should be 11 mbps, G 54 mbps and N 600 mbps (all maximum data transfer rates)
