Well as for me i'm twenty eight but i think age is immaterial and of no real importance after all it's just a number!

The general age trend is probably quite low. Early 20's or so. This is purely because the A+ is an entry level certification and as such it's one of the first people get in the industry.

It's very mixed i think, people doing the A+ at college are 20 years to 60 years of age.

The majority in my class were in their 30s.And there were a few in in their 40s including me.

And some people don't do it to pass the A+ or become qualified, they do it to learn about pcs or learn basic repairs,i noticed this especially at college, when hardly anyone is interested in a actually taking the exams, then you know that this wasn't purely studying to reach certification.

I was the first to take exams at my college, this was months after the course ended.
And the course is now totally free for some people, all they have to pay for is the exams,so there will be the odd carefree attitude as it costs nothing to study. And people can drop out at will.

Don't the 18 year olds get this course free of charge too?

Im 22 and still studying for it.....wish I woulda done it younger but instead I took the college BTEC National Diploma route first - dunno why cause I never wanted to go to Uni. If I would have known about the A+ earlier I probably would have done it then. My college cert did however land me a job in 1st line.

I'm 24 and I've only just got round to the A+, I've traded on experience up until now (and its worked out fairly well!) but figured the certification would probably allow me to command a slightly healthier pay packet.
