Its a great topic Rob for sure. I do find it interesting how students at uni are using AI, but also the Uni's then have to have software that somehow checks if they've used AI in their work!

I think we can't get away from it, we sell AI where I work and the most common objection I get is, will this replace me. I always say no of course not, but someone who uses it but you don't, maybe... a bit tongue in cheek but I think that's how it'll go. It lets you get through more work. I often use it to summarise public facing documents that I have to read. 60 pages into 4 pages of notes, its a bit like having cliffs notes if you're old like me.

I can only comment on ServiceNow but we have micro certifications that only take an hour or so to do, for AI/GenAI/Agentic AI here, free of course. Now Assist being what we call our AI on the ServiceNow Platform.

 

I've not used Grok greatly but it seems to have a sense of humour ha ha. I think they would be, AI is only as good as what you ask it and even then. The people who know how to leverage it and how to train large language models, how to build skills, I think AI roles will be very popular so as always, being certified that you know what you say you do, will often help you to stand out in the crowd I think. It'll not replace us but those of us who know how to use it... we might replace those that don't

 

ha ha brilliant, its' definintely got more personality than the others I find. AI is a part of my daily role, daily life in fact outside of work too. I've fully embraced it and can't imagine life without it now
