I found a link to this little app on another site I visit Roboform: www.roboform.com and since installing it I've found it a great time saver. If your one of those people that use alot of log-ons in web pages with several differnet usernames and password then this app will make your life easier.

I also use the internet explorer spell checker that Flex mention in one on the chat sessions www.iespell.com/download.php and what a great little app that is.

I wondered what apps can't you live without?

    Brilliant Si :thumbleft

This will mean I can use totally random complex passwords without having to remember them, or to store them somewhere and copy and paste them. This is excellent.
The form filling thing is very good also, cheers.

I can't think of apps myself that I can't lvie without at this evry moment, but I'm sure I'll rememebr soon enough, to psot any here.

    Thanks :!:

Yeah the password generator is very useful and the ability to backup all the data from the app is another invaluable feature.

I like the look of that Si, I'll check it out when I get home. Some of the utils I find very handy now and again are Ping Plotter which gives you a realtime graphical presentation of traceroute, very good for spotting problems. GFI Languard Network Scanner useful for scanning your network and Unlock which is a commandline util that either displays locked user accounts or lets you unlock user accounts, it's pretty versatile it will let you unluck a whole bunch of users at once in any OU you specify.

Along with all of the above, I'd add IP Lookup. I've been using this a lot at work lately - quick and easy.

i used to use WinBar, might look into it again to see if they have fixed all the bugs from back when i used it (probably going back 2 years here)

Bit Torrent is a client to download 'torrents' a distributed peer to peer system for downloading stuff from the internet, although its official use is things like large game demos, patches, linux isos, it comes in rather handy for movies and mp3s too, thats all 'unofficial' though ofcourse :)
