hey guys. as some of you may recall, i applied for an IT apprenticeship about a month or so ago. well after hearing nothing from them since the 13th, i decided to call them today, to find out what was going on.

the woman i spoke to wasnt the one screening the applications, so she could only tell me what was on the system. but apparently my application made it through the first round of screening. they are apprently looking at what they now have left, and most likely narrowing it down a bit more. if im successful there, i will have to take an aptitude test (no idea what thats gonna be like), then from there a technical interview and an executive interview.

but hoping that im successful there, i would sign up for a 3 year apprenticeship, during which i would work towards an NVQ levels 2 and 3, and most likely some other certs (such as CCNA, N+, etc) as the company likes to have certified staff on site.

from what i can tell its mostly installing network points, reconfiguring routers, etc, sounds cool.
