I just read that Windows 2000 Server and multiprocessor computers don't support APM.

When I right-clicked my 2000 server desktop and hit the screensaver tab and then clicked on power, it gave me the option of turning off my hard disks after a certian time limit.

Isn't that advanced power management :?:

    What's the deal here :?:

Flex, I think thats ACPI which is supposed to be the superset of APM, so I think W2K does SORTA support it.

Also, bear in mind that the BIOS/mobo must also be ACPI-compliant
