Just wondering if anyone is currently working on anything right now? seems to be a certification apocalypse on here these days lol. I am currently working on the MTA Networking Fundamentals as I know nothing about this stuff really and I should know these things so thought I'd learn the content and sit the exam. hoping to knock this out around this time next month possibly towards the end of the month before moving onto to windows server fundamentals, going for a few of the MTAs this year tbh, quite young in my IT career so trying to build on fundamental knowledge, gotta crawl before you walk.

I'm currently writing a cert for a vendor if that counts ;) means I get given it automatically once it's made live as I wrote a lot of the questions :)

Network+ at the moment, a first step as I am considering doing a CCNA Routing course once I have completed the N+. Work are hopefully going to pay for my Linux+ course.

On the side, I am learning Powershell and Python.

    Busy boy at the moment.

I am possibly the least motivated user on the forum, so I am still just working/crawling on the 1 cert, 70-646 to complete my 2008 triad.

Working on getting my MS certs back up to date. Did 410 and 411 recently and now working on the Hyper-v 2012 R2 exam 74-409, so that'll give me MCSA 2012 and force me to get some much needed experience with Hyper-v :)

I was tempted to not do the MTA Network exam and go straight to the N+ but maybe too advanced.. Only worked in IT 3 months now.

I've just bought the Mike Meyers Comptia A+ 901-902 study guide to attempt my first cert. Crikey is it a thick book!

I've been looking over the 901/902 objectives and Im considering it, I need to know about networks/servers and its all in the A+ so I may just save time and study the A+. Im not really doing it for the certificate I need the knowledge.. I already bought the 901/02 book.

Yeah to me it looked like a great first course for me to study for and the 901/902 does cover a broad scope of topics. Does anyone have a idea how long it usually takes from study to completion of the exams as a guide? I understand this can totally depend on the student but is it possible to get it completed in 4-6 months?

Dont see why it cant be done in that time, all boils down to how much time you have to invest.

Working through my MCSA: Server 2012 focussing on the 70-410 to begin with

Trying to get a structure together on how to tackle everything. I'm going to try and aim for ~3 months for the MCSA: Server 2012 as I use it day-to-day already.
