I chirp pretty loudly... but I've never twittered.

 

I'm singing like a nightinggale at the moment.

I am containing the grrrrrrrrrrrrrs at the minute because if I dont get my car back tommorow after being told 6 times it'll ready tommorow someones gonna feel some pain.

personally I pretty much try everything that comes out of the valley start up community, some of them stick some of them don't

Twitter is a form of social micro blogging, or I tend to think of it as group/public instant messaging
its just a service that lets you write short (140 char) snippits of what your upto/how your feeling, whatever, and its publicly viewable, but primarily you have a group of people 'following' you, sounds stalkerish i know, but basically it lets me follow friends who I'm not to close with, or mates across the ponds, and keep up to date with what's going on
personally it suits me great as I am useless at writing emails, where as a quick status update here and there is fine, especially with the wealth of methods for updating twitter (desktop app, facebook integration, sms message, website)
It's also a pretty quick platform for news to traverse, news of the SF earthquake was all over twitter long before the BBC or even google news had anything mentioned, nice if you know people all over the place

Is it for anyone here? maybe one or two of you, I was really curious if there was anyone using it already worth following

a bunch of my photography group use and as there based all over the world its nice to get updates from them, as well as family and friends all over the place, and some of the blog personalities are worth following too as they mostly have something useful to say

i've seen Ryan constantly twittering on Facebook...

 

I've heard of it before but never really looked into it, so ive just gone created myself an account, will have a longer look after work at it.
