anyone knows study guide except sybex?

    There are lots of study guides out there:

    Sybex (like you mentioned), Cisco System, Examcram, etc.

    For free material, that's something different. I have to say that you won't find alot of free material out there to pass the exams. Some things you could look at though:
    http://www.cramsession.com/ They have free cram sheets, but they aren't that indepth - they are more used to consolidate information that you already know.

    Another option maybe the local library, they offers good books that you can borrow - it may seem old fashion, but it works :)

    The best books I have come accross have been the Cisco Press Academy CCNA books and work books. They are pretty pricey, but well worth it.
