Anyone else go for a nice brisk run this morning, I did the 6 miles with a group of friends from work and actually enjoyed it a great deal, would definitely love to do something similar again, just hopefully when I'm not full of cold and managed to train for it

6 Miles?? I thought it was the sport relief mile :blink

Len, your profile says your 18 :ohmy

Well done Simon, I jogged 2 mins to the local shops earlier and realised just how much the sitting at a desk and eating doughnuts was affecting me!

    I am.

When I was a kid, I used to play sport for 4+ hours day, every day and could run for miles. This was when I was about 5 - 13. 12-13 being when I really got interested in Pc's and MMO's. It went downhill from there. While I'm "healthy", I just cant seem to run for more than 2 minutes anymore :(

You had a choice of doing 1 mile, 3 miles and 6 miles, just depending on what level you were. Quite a few of the people from work walked the 6 miles but i chose to run it. I'm one of these athletic gym going IT professionals :biggrin

Just to add myself to the list, I also did 6 miles and only started running a few weeks ago!
