    Hi all

Sat at work feeling like I've been hit by a truck, a little bit too much happy juice at the gig last night. :sick :brancard

Anybody know any good hangover cure's? I normally just sleep it off cause i only really drink at weekend's, but last night was a special(ish) occasion and I'm not the type to take day's off for self inflected illness.

Anybody know any magic cure's (apart from not drinking of course!!!)

I would normally have a big greasy breakfast, and that tends to work, but that ain't an option at the moment. :(

    Water
but its best to drink it the night before whilst drinking alcahol, being that you get a hang over due to dehydration, drink water pint for pint with beer and shots, make sure your fully hydrated before you goto sleep

your best bet now is to go buy a couple bottes of evian and down em :)

ofcourse, a time machine would be handy about now too ;)

    No, sorry I don't.
I always drink loads of water before crashing out, which always stops hangovers.
Try not to mix your drinks on a night out.

I've heard that eating starchy foods will help to soak up the excess alcohol currently swirling in your bloodstream.
Drink plenty of water for now, because your body is dehydrated.
Drink tea instead of coffee.PG tips are the best for this situation, if you have them in the colonies that is :D

There is categorically only one true hangover cure, but unfortunately, you'll most likely have to have got drunk in Scotland (and wake up in the same country) to obtain this miracle cure...

Jak, I have had Iron Bru as a hangover cure before, and i think it worked, however they don't have it here. I've been drinkin alot of water, and I'm starting to feel human again.

I would normally drink water (although not 1:1 ratio, no way could I drink that much water before bed lol), but I forgot last night as I stayed out and only had about 15 min at home to shower and change. Suppose this is the price I pay for a good night out. :)

You have 2 problems when you have hangover cure dehydration and lack of sugar. (Sugar is the reason most people crave coke or iron bru as suggested)

Get water and sugar in blood stream as quick as possible.

    Actually PB, I have 2 that worked for me in the past;

1 You already mentioned this one, don't drink (this didn't always work).[IMG]

2 Get so blindingly ratassed drunk that you wake up the next morning still blotto (this always worked).[IMG]

That's what you get for only doing half the job.[IMG]
