Any pc engineers have a databse of solutions

    Pref a portable quick reference database you can search via keyword for answersor tips to problems you occur, must be something out there, any ideas?

    Google for common problems.

    How ever where I work we do keep a know errors and faults database for issues relivnt to to our own software we provide to customers.

    If you want to make one for your own desk or for your self nothing stopping you.

    I meant an engineer (or tech) whatever you want to call it, that is on the move from home or business customer to customer, say you got a problem you just couldn't fix, wouldn't it be handy to refer to a PDA or something full of solutions?

    I once worked with someone who did just this. The book of books has now been ditched for Xmarks.
