Hi all,

Just needing a little advice please, I see that the old mcdst has been stopped now by microsoft,
to have the same qualification when starting out do I need to start with 70-680 or 70-685 for a entry level desktop support tech. I do know obvioulsy that you need the A+ and Network + to start.

Any advice please?

MCITP: EDST 7 has made up of two exams but I've heard it's more involved then MCDST because of the new material and features in 7 for deployment and imaging. 70-685 is only one of the two exams.

A technology specialist (MCTS) certification can help as well but for both certifications it depends if/when you're going to be working with Windows 7 and how much experience you have.
