Can't say that I ever heard of them but being thousands of miles away from the UK, that's probably not unusual. Greetings and welcome to CF, martnic. Someone should be along presently who can help you out.

Hi and welcome aboard, martnic. Can't offer much in the way of opinion on those you mention - your best will probably be by starting off at their respective websites, and taking it from there.

Other than that, enjoy your time here :)

Hi and welcome to the forum mate. You might want to check out our A+ forum, getting a couple of recommended books and going from there.

They do part funding as well but of course, you must reach certain criteria!

    Good luck!

I studied using the Mike Meyers 'All In One' book and also his Learnkey CD's that cost £400.00 The book cost me £20 and guess which was the most useful....

My humble advice is read either the above book or the Sybex publication and when you have finished invest in some practise questions from somewhere like Transcender or SelfTest Software. Keep swatting on the practise questions until you are scoring over 95% on average. Print off the answers you regularly fluff and read that chapter in the book. Limit yourself to a couple of hours study at a time and stop when you feel you are not taking any more in. For the cost of a book and CD Rom (practise tests) you should pass no worries. That is, in my humble opinion. Good Luck!!!

    Hi m8,

Im doing the A+, Network+ course through learn direct...

It was around £500 ....cheap compared what others have paid
dosent include exam fees.....and although i thought the A+ content was good, I wouldn't say the stuff i recieved would justify £500......my advice by mike myers A+ certification book and another just in case it dosent cover everything and get some practice tests....

If you need any more info on my Learn direct course material then contact me [email protected]
Hope that was of some help

I am currently studying with Nitlc.com, they are expensive and the fees does cover your first exams of the many included throughout the course. If you fail at your first attempt on any of the exams, you have to pay to resit the exam.

Nitlc.com came highly recommended and the tutors are brilliant.

But it is very costly, my friend has decided to buy the recommended books and take it from there.

Mike Myesr books are very good and so is the exam cram books.

    Cheers,

    Stevie

Looks like Davver posted this in April of last year. He (or she) might not be around much these days.
