I was looking at the A+ exam vouchers on the comptia site but they are the same price as the exam, surely they are meant to be cheaper than if I were to book the exam paying by credit/debit card? Maybe Ive got it wrong somewhere?

No, normally the prices are the same... It's when you go and use sites like getcertifiedforless, etc...

Vouchers aren't cheaper - they're just a form of pre-payment, I believe they were put in place so people could pay for a training course plus exam under a single purchase order and invoice.
