    Hi all,

First off, I apologise in advance if this has been asked before.

I completed both MCDST exams earlier in the year. I'm now looking to "upgrade" this certification.

Can someone put the record straight for me here as I've heard multiple answers. Do I only have to take one exam in order to "upgrade" my MCDST to the Windows 7 certification? Or do I have to do a whole new set of exams? If so, which exams do I need to study in order to get the Windows 7 certification.

    Thanks all.

If you take the 70-682 exam, your MCDST will be upgraded to MCITP Enterprise Desktop Support Technician in one exam, while the normal path would take you two exams (680 + 685)

As far as I know off, you will however not get the MCTS (70-680) title but you do have to learn the content of both exams.

With Vista this was still the case :(

So, in essence, I have to do both exams to get the Windows 7 cert?
