Well, after 2 and a half years since my last certification exam (272) today I sat and passed the Network+.

This was a nice exam to get me going again with some certs, and I actually enjoyed sitting it. Some of the questions were very vague as to what they expected you to answer, as numerous options could have been correct, but overall it was a nice exam.

The format of the questions were also nice, no long winded scenario based questions as I'm used to from the MS stuff, just simple one or two sentence ones.

90 Minutes to sit the test, I think I was done in about 40.

Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of my day off with the mrs!

Sorry, Simon, just couldn't resist a gentle dig as my LPIC is taking me the same sort of time frame too. And, just as with you, it's the time spent working explicitly on the cert that's really stretching things out.

 

Nice work Simon, as we know it's not a race. The important thing is to get the cert and retain the knowledge, the time it takes depends on so many other unrelated factors.
