hello all

i am currently one exam off of the mcsa (070-291) and am a little bored of MS certification styles.

i want to do something that i think i'll find really interesting, and want to look at security and pen testing.

i just have a couple of questions directed at peeps that have already done this -


1. is it worth me carrying on to MCSE before i start to take non-ms certs
2. should i take security+ and then the CEH?

i'm really interested in the CEH after looking at the topics it covers, and its not really a career decision for me, more of something that i will find interesting. It looks rather deep, and i wonder if i would benefit from taking the security+ first.

if i opt to take security+ should i first work through to MCSE (it seems crucial to actually getting a 2nd/3rd line support job in oxfordshire, but maybe if i had some other certs it would not matter)

anyway, that's what i am asking about
