    Evenin' all,

Looking for some advice on places to look for buying a laptop. A friend is looking to spend around the £500 mark and has asked me to help him out with his search. Obviously he's not expecting a top of the range machine but wants to get the most for his money.

I've been searching around different sites and had a look around ebay too but I just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations of anywhere they've used, or have heard of, that would be worth checking out.

Thanks in advance for any advice or info.

    Cheers,
    Derek.

Just bought one from Novatech. Good value at £600 for C2.8 512MB 40GB 15" (if a bit noisy when the fan cuts in).
