Does anyone own a Shuttle XPC?

I currently own one and before I bought a Lightscribe DVD-RW.
    I had a NEC DVD-RW.

The shuttles only have one slot for optical device and one slot for an 'A' Drive.

When I connected this 7 in 1 A drive to the M/Board the NEC drive stop working. I searched throughout the web and found some firmware and comments on from others who had the same problem. The firmware didn't work and I couldn't use my MMC or flash cards (I was gutted!) :(

Eight months later, with a new Lightscribe DVD-RW the 7 in 1 Drive works but the OG DVD's don't.

Is it a fault with the Shuttles?

    Has anyone experienced similar problems?

I'd be grateful for your opinions on this :)

I have a shuttle at work, but as it is the Linux Firewall / Router I don't think that people would be very impressed if I took it apart to find out! :biggrin

In case you hadn't noticed this is more of a *BUMP* than anything else! :dry
