Hi guys, just wondering if you fail the A+ exam the first go do you get a free resit? I'm sure I read somewhere that you get the opportunity to resit right there and then if you fail it first go, and if you fail this second attempt you get another freee within 30days. Is this correct or am I talking absolute nonsense?

    Hi exonje,
Found the info below on the CompTIA site, which may help. Doesn't mention anything about free resits though.

I've never heard of a free resit if you fail the A+ exam. Everything I've ever read or heard is that you have to pay for each attempt that you sit the exam.

    Me neither....but I did sit the A+ 10 years ago:rolleyes:

I wonder if exonje is thinking of the MS second shot vouchers, that allow you to resit a failed exam once for free?

Free resits is I think from Institution that you signed up!
If your doing yourself and failed, I am afraid you have to pay for it again.
Don't rush on your exam :)
