As much as you feel comfortable with. Make the most of it, whilst you don't have *other things* to do!

I try and do a few hours of studying a day.

Bear in mind you don't have to welded to the books in this time - spend time looking on Technet, the forums and your lab; they are all part of the learning process.

    Best of luck.

    A break! :morebeer :biggrin

5 hours is a lot of time and if you are dedictated to put this in, you will gain pretty quickly.

Try and spread the time out so you don't get fed up. ie time for keeping up with news, forums, Technet, reading and labs.

I agree that 5 hours of studying without breaks wouldn't really help. Your mind becomes "tired" after awhile and the longer you study, the less you learn.

In addition to the other suggestions made here, remember the A+ material has a lot of "hands on" tasks. Don't just read books and surf the web for information. Get a couple of second-hand PCs and "get your hands dirty".
