    Hi there,

    My name is John, I'm 26 years old and have spent the last five years working in tech support. Currently employed in a 2nd line desktop support role which also has limited involvement with servers and network administration.

    Looking to gain some certifications to add to my name and make my CV look a little more credible.

    Hi John, and welcome to CF!

    I would say your CV should look rather credible with your work experience, but getting some certifications to bolster it is never a bad thing!!

    What kind of Certs did you have in mind for yourself?

    Seems like you have sufficiant experiance to jump into MCSE, i suggest you do a Exchange 2007 cert as well.

    Doing 2nd line support, and no certs I would recommend doing the A+, Network+, MCDST and MCSA. Wait until you have more experience with servers and network infrastucture before going for the MCSE.
