Stumbled across this forum whilst browsing for course infomation.

Looking to go on an A+ course in the near future.

Not hardly. I'm almost 50 and I just entered the game a few years ago. Graduated a two-year program with a Bachelor's (I already had a B.A. so I didn't need to do the whole four year bit) last August and have a few certs under my belt. I've done a bunch of temp jobs (mostly installs, upgrades, and rollouts) and now work part time at HP while writing technical pieces for print and internet publication with the other half of my time.

At 31, you're a proverbial "spring chicken". BTW, welcome to the forum. As you have probably already learned, we're a bit crazy but mostly harmless. Please feel free to post any questions or comments about the A+ in the relevant forum. You can see me all over the place but I especially hang out around Hardware and Networking. Hope you enjoy the place.

Hello Enzo - glad you found us!

I think the others should have convinced you by now that 31 is not too late to re-train - whether its IT or otherwise.

Go for it and let us know how you get on along the way! :newbie
