701/702 and 801/802

Hi

I'm hoping to do my A+ in June/July 2013 and the training site says it is still using 701/702 until August. I have the Darril Gibson study guide for 801/802 and I'd like to start studying now before my course starts in the summer.

My question is, could I still use the 801/802 guide to study from, even though my course may be 701/702?

I'm assuming the 800 series is the same as the 700, just with added material?

I cant see to much harm in this, im sure it will give you a head start rather than hinder you. But as you've already said, just be aware that the contents could be quite different in the old exam.
