I thought the 685 was a bugger. I scored well (940) but there were about 6-9 questions when I had to guess between two questions.

It's only a marginal fail. Lace your boots a bit tighter and you'll kick it into touch next time.

Grim - I intend to just crack into the books again, I have the self paced job and the portable cmd guide. I'm also going to spend more time rocking the delights of AD and group policy settings.

cheers Ade, I think if I can blag the questions where I guessed right instead of wrong I'll be onto a winner! lol! it is a tough exam though.

I did better in the 685 than in the 680 itself, think I liked the scenario question layout better...

Marginal fails - always possible, even for the more prepared amongst us. Just work through the areas again that you scored lowest on (taking a quick overview of the others that you did OK on) and I'm sure this will be a pass 2nd time around.

    BTW, free resit?

You will get it next time. It a tough one. I didn't score as high on it as everyone else it seems. I believe mine was a 883.

Hey, that's a great score (!) and anyway, with MS Certs at least, you only pass. So, 710's as good as 990...
