For all those who have passed or who are studying the 70-680, I know the 70-680 tests on deploying system installs with WDS, but just how much do I need to be aware of it?? i.e is it worth my time having to setup a Server 2008 DC on another virtual machine so I can lab deploying the images from WDS, or would this be a misuse of my study time??

I'm studying the 70-680 and am about 75% of the way through it.
I use w7 and WDS at work so kinda know what wds is about and how it works.
Yet I still setup a quick wds lab and deployed a few images the Microsoft way

No – it would be good for the exam and managing images is a good skill to have.
