Just wondered if anyone used cbt nuggets for the 70-680 and how they got on?

Hi shadowwebs, i had a look at the cbt nuggets, but the guy who does the videos was a little annoying to me, and I found he tends to ramble on about irrelevant stuff a lot.

I preferred prof. Messer and the itfreetraining vids personally.

Yeah I found the CBT guy seemed to be trying to be funny all the time which was a bit distracting. I used to watch the videos on fast forward to try to speed things up, but only got about 1/3 of the way though the course before loosing interest.

I've since found the itfreetraining videos on youtube thanks to this forum, and I think they're much better.

The CBT Nuggets are excellent. They're the best video training currently available for the 70-680 exam.

The instructor for the 70-680 course is James Conrad, and he's my favorite trainer. He's smart, he's funny, and he's a superb communicator.

However, if you have no sense of humor, you'll never get him.

I haven't done the 680, but I have used CBT Nuggets led by James Conrad on previous occasions and I think he's a great trainer, and also probably my favourite.

JamesTaylor is spot on for me.

In your opinion (unless of course you've already seen every course available).

Not saying they aren't useful, and I certainly think that unless someone already knows Win7 inside and out well enough to pass the 70-680 exam without needing to study then this course will certainly fill in any gaps and prepare them, but if I want a laugh I don't immediately think "I know, I'll watch what must amount to 20+ hours of videos about Windows 7".

If I'm going to spend a few days/weeks/months of my life on this subject I'd prefer to cut to the chase rather than hear some zany american tell me how it's his birthday soon and he'd really like a new DSLR camera. ;-)

I used CBT Nuggets, Prof Messor, and the Trail Signal videos, but between them I found a lot of content missing. I came across many exam questions which hadn't been discussed on any of the videos. This is where the VCE helped a lot.

Ah, I see... What a shame that people have to resort to Braindumping.
