    well done.

Got mine this time next week. Getting stressed now to be honest. Think i've done enough but going spend the next week going though it all again and practice on some practical stuff. I moved it back 2 weeks so i'm more prepared. Now im just going to go for it. Been going hard at it for bout 4 or 5 weeks now 3 hours a night in the week and most of saturday and sunday.

    Congratulations!

Have you got any real life experience with 2003 server or did you study everything you needed to know for the exam?

and a question to all, if you use 2003 server in your job role will this help you a lot towards this exam?

    Thanks

    real life experience not alot,

i helped a mate setup the web version of server 2k3. wasn't very secure but it worked for what he needed it for .

when i was at stratford i wrote a program that bypassed Group policy to enable me to change the screen res and refresh rate.

i also attended the 2274 course

    my revision schedule consisted of,

get up about 10 am munch breakfast while reading a chapeter of the 2274 book.
then 1 hour on the internet
play with some labs, work out what i didnt really understand.
break for lunch when mum comes home for her lunch break for an hour
go back and look up on the internet what i didnt understand.
download the apps or plugins need to set it up EG WSUS
read the KB articals and set it up untill i understand it/get bored.
throw in a few test out videos/simulation practice.
watched some IT idiots podcasts mainly the 5 "cramsession" episodes. made notes on them and revised bits i didnt remember.

i threw in a couple of measure up mock tests and just went for it.

i think i over learned things as when it come to back up and restore, i made a point of backing up parts of a server eg active directory and then breaking it and trying to restore it and see the restore procedure. but the trainer that was teaching me said i needent have done that as its a MCSE thing, but i found it helped me learn the difference between authoritive and non authoritive restore. but then he just said think of authoritive adding 100,000 to the priorityn (its not really the priorty its the s/n of the records) thus its going to win when it replicates.

Mate, no one is going to "send" you study materials, but if you ask politely, the person who passed the exam will probably tell you which resources he used. Then you can go out and buy your own copies. Also, please do not type in all capital letters. It is considered "shouting" which is rude. Thanks.

    Study books.
    Get hands-on experience.
Take (legitimate) practice exams, if desired.
    Pass the exam.

    Simple as that!
