Right thats it booked. E-Day is 24th of June so better crack on with revising.

First question, is WSUS in 70-290 or is it in 291?

And which version of WSUS? 2 or 3?

i think its WSUS3.0, although i only had one basic question for it in 290, i believe its heavily discussed in 291. Just read up on it, theres an overview and a step by step white paper i found useful!

I had SUS in 290 and WSUS in 291 so im not much help here. From what i remember my WSUS questions were generic so it could apply to either version - just a hint you dont need to know the ins and out of WSUS just the basics! 8)

I didn't get any wsus or sus question last week. I built a sus then wsus server when I was leading up to sitting 70-290. Best to cover all bases.

    about to resit

i sat mine 13 days ago! The 290 stuff for WSUS should be pretty basic/generic, but it DID refer to it as WSUS. TBH, that has been the standard for a while now so I would have thought they'd have removed any questions relating to the old SUS.

The latest version of WSUS is 3.0 as far as im aware, so id say its best to get a good overview of its basic functionality, simple roll out etc!

    HTH!

Thanks chaps. I have the exam in 2.5 weeks, was very difficult to book it.

Only problem, I just spent a week on a 2008 course and need to make sure I don't mix the 2 up!

PS which rollout of 2003 do they use? is it RC2? or SP1/2?

    Congrats on the pass. :D

What did you use for studying? I ask because I took delivery of my Training Kit for 290 this morning... 8)

I did both of the courses which to be honest was ages ago and I don't think really helped.

I have several years experience using w2k3 so pretty clued up but there are a few gaps. All I got was an Exam Cram 70-290 book and also made sure I covered everything in the exam guide listing.

The sims are a bit ambiguous but a change from the usual multiple guess questions.
