Hi, I have been sent my new MS training kits from Advent, they are both MS press books. In the study guide they sent they suggest to read both books together but I have no experience of servers at all as still very new to the IT world, would I be better off doing them 1 at a time and learning all I can from the 70-270 before moving on to the 70-290? Any thoughts would be welcome

I would say first the 270, and after the 290.

If you have no server experience go for the 270 first as Nico has suggested, will help you with permissions and things. Drop me a pm as I live in the same place as you if its the one Glos.
