    I wanna get MCSA 2003.
So, when SQL 2005 was born, a new Cert comes.
I read some info about both.
I think it has some same subjects (like Installing, Manaing,...)
How about T-SQL and so far ?

Who can tell me what better for me? So I can get MCSA 2003 easier.

    I'm not a Database Pro.
    THanks!

You don't need to have a SQL exam inorder to get an MCSA.

Take a look at the objectives here.

I know but I have an interesting mind on SQL ^^ So, I wanna choose one of them.

And ISA, Exchange will be update soon. I think I get them for knowledge, not for exam paper ^^

i think 70-431 because according to MS they say:

    Certifications: B.Sc, MCDST & MCSA
    WIP: M.Sc - Computer Forensics

As far as I can see, 70-431 seems to be 70-228 & 70-229 (both SQL Server 2000) rolled into one for SQL Server 2005.

70-228 = Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition

70-229 = Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition

70-431 = Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Implementation and Maintenance

70-229 (which I'm studying now) involves much more actual SQL coding than 70-228.
228 is more about running SQL Server & integrating it with your other server software, whilst others worry more about the data contained within the db's.

Just something to bear in mind.

Of course, it also depends on which version of SQL Server you think you'll be using.
Unfortunately 70-229 doesn't count towards either MSCA.

    Hope that helps :D
