I'm just back from my 602 exam.
I'm running a temperature and I've tweaked a muscle in my back so I was feeling pretty awful to start with. In retrospect a heat patch on my back was maybe the wrong move with a high temperature.
10 questions in and I'm wondering if I'm taking the wrong exam, most of the questions are on topics I've never come across in any study materials. I start to brick it seriously. It totally threw me, I forgot to mark questions I was unsure of and I was feeling that awful, physically and mentally, I just wanted it over with.
I soldiered on however, being Scottish and skint the thought of having to pay for a resit rallied my resources.
After forcing myself to review all the questions and changing a few answers I finished the exam.
I've never hated a survey so much in my life!

    :cheers

I thought I'd c****d it up, maybe scraped a pass at best.
Exam tips: Stay calm, stay focused, never give up. No matter what life (and CompTIA) throws at you.

As soon as I feel better and I've got time off work, this is going to happen.

Great news, especially as you weren't feeling 100% - congratulations, you deserve it :D

I completely agree with you on that, it felt like the never-ending survey of doom!

    Thanks folks.
Fortunately I'm feeling a little better now.:)
Unfortunately I'm just back from doing three hours overtime with a double shift tomorrow and day shift on Sunday  so I'll probably feel rotten again by Sunday night.
No matter though, I've never been so pleased to pass an exam in my life, probably because that's the first time I've seriously thought I'd failed an exam that I'd prepared for properly.
Now I've had time to think, I realise I'd been in the same situation in practice exams, the first 10-15 questions were largely disastrous. I'd vowed not to let that throw me in the real exam. So much for that.

    Heh, I just realised. Technically I'm no longer a complete n00b. Still a n00b, but not a complete n00b.

Nah. We don't want the English, and our gullible transatlantic cousins, to know what we're really saying.
